Kari Lake Career: From News Anchor To Politician
Kari Lake kicked her career in Journalism during her early twenties. While still at the University, she began as an intern working at KWQC-TV in May 1991. Later, she was promoted to production assistant at KWQC-TV.
The following year, she switched to WHBF-TV as a daily reporter in Rock Island, Illinois. Also, became a weekend weathercaster there.
She relocated to Phoenix to join KPNX in August 1994 as the weekend weather anchor. Further, she held the role of evening anchor at KPNX.
In 1998, Lake took a job at WNYT in Albany, New York. The next year, she returned to Arizona to work as an evening anchor for KSAZ-TV.
