Anna Hall was competitive from childhood and grew up wanting to beat her elder sisters: Kathryn Hall and Julia Hall, at almost everything. Her elder siblings: Kathyrn, played tennis, and Julia ran track at Michigan University, following their father’s footsteps. They also have a younger sister Lauryn Hall.
Anna ran with Julia for one year in high school; that’s the reason the two sisters always competed against each other. Anna remembers they are like, who was speedy at what age? Not only in sports, but they also compete over anything, like who can be the most active in a day and burn the most calories tracked in their Apple watches (gift from their parents) and who receives the highest grades in an online school.
Their competitive nature became their motivation and strength. Anna says,
“She’s (Julia) definitely pushed me to be as good as I can be.”
Except for Anna, none of her sisters pursue sports professionally, and now both of her elder sisters got hitched.
Kathyrun tied the knot on 24th July 2021 to Jack Wangler, a former footballer at Michigan University.
Likewise, Julia married on 15th April 2022 to professional Canadian gridiron football cornerback Benjamin St-Juste. Her husband is currently signed to the Washington Commanders of the NFL. He finished his collegiate career at Michigan, so they may have met while attending Michigan.

High School Career
Before being transferred to Valor Christian for her sophomore year, Anna attended Arapahoe High School. Her first pentathlon and heptathlon national high school records came in her junior class 2018.
Further, she won 3X New Balance Nationals pentathlon champion consecutively in 2017, 2018, and 2019, along with the 2018 New Balance Nationals high jump champion.
Anna, only aged seventeen, made her international debut at the 2018 World Under-20 Championships, where she secured ninth position in the heptathlon, competing against two years her senior.
In 2019, she enhanced her records, scoring 4302 and 5847 points at the USATF Indoor Championships, where she came third in the senior division while still aged 17. Further, she became the first at Pan American U20 Championships.
College Career
In 2019, Anna attended the University of Georgia, joining Georgia Bulldogs.
The following year, she earned All-American in NCAA Division I Indoor Championships in Pentathlon. In 2021, she secured 3rd in the high jump and 2nd in Penthahlon in NCAA Division l Indoor Championship.
Further, she went to The United States Olympic trials for track and field, where she got seriously injured, fracturing the left foot’s navicular bone. She underwent foot surgery which demanded bed rest until October.
At the same time, Bulldog’s coaching changed, so Hall she decided to transfer to the University of Florida. She returned with a bang after recovering from a foot injury in 2022. In her second Pentathlon competition, She recorded 4618 points in February, which won her the SEC indoor title.
Further, Anna led the Gators to win their first women’s NCAA Indoor team title in three decades.
Professional
In August 2022, Anna Hall signed a professional deal with Adidas.
On 16th February 2023, at the USAF Indoor Championships, Hall scored a glorious 5004 points, which named her the third athlete in history to score 5000 points. Her world all-time list rank moved up to the second place.
